Casino Royale (2006)

Times may change but one thing remains the same — James Bond is cool! Through the years, the popular spy has popped up in hip flicks from Dr. No (1962) to No Time to Die (2021) with the comedy Casino Royale (1967) and the thriller Casino Royale (2006) in between. Of course, when it comes to male flesh, we’re partial to the latter since it features its fair share of pecs! Based on Ian Fleming’s 1953 novel of the same name, this PG-13 pic marks the first time Daniel Craig stepped into 007’s shoes. The action kicks in when M (Judi Dench) tells Bond to hunt down terrorist financier and overall bad guy Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) to put an end to his bankrolled reign of terror. When the MI6 agent discovers that the maniacal moneylender is participating in an upcoming high stakes poker game, under the watchful eye of alluring agent Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), the canonical spy must use his gambling skills, smarts, and muscles to save the world from total destruction. If that’s not overwhelming enough, James must do so whilst proving he’s a handsome hunk! To that end, Daniel gives moviegoers something to spy with their eyes: skin! While being tortured by Le Chiffre, Bond bares his naked body. Too bad we can only see his abs, guns and gams. Yet when the shirtless hero sports a Speedo by the pool, you may feel a splash in your pants! Suffice it to say, 007 is a perfect 10!
