Chattahoochee (1989)

Chattahoochee (1989) is a terrifically sad look at an American Veteran struggling with PTSD, based on the true story of Korean War veteran Chris Calhoun. The film tells the story of a war hero returning home from Korea to Florida in 1955 before it was widely understood how distressing coming home from war can be. Gary Oldman is Emmett Foley, the analog to Calhoun. Emmett served in Korea, only to come home with all sorts of mental health issues that lead him to try to kill himself via a police shooting, then by turning the gun on himself. That outburst lands Emmett in Chatahoochee, the maximum-security looney bin that Foley soon finds out is a nightmarish Hellhole full of sadistic, abusive guards and deplorable living conditions. Desperate, he meets fellow inmate Walker Benson (Dennis Hopper) who tells him he needs to write to the authorities and get them to do something about the place. He's an American war hero, so you'd think he could make something happen, but 1955 Florida isn't a place that cares a whole lot about mental health. Insert "Florida Man" joke here. But with the odds stacked against him, his crusade faces an uphill climb that his mental issues aren't going to make any easier. Hollywood legends Dennis Hopper and Gary Oldman light up the screen and show some skin in this heavy drama. Mr. Hopper flashes his famous fanny during a scene where he tries to help Emmett with an accidental boner, then walks out of the shower with a towel thrown over his shoulders. Mr. Man would love to hop on that thing! While Hopper’s bare ass is nice, that tail is pale in comparison to Gary Oldman and his fantastic full frontal. As the guards give him a full body search we see Mr. Oldman and his tight cheeks from behind, then they spin him around and show his big bush in full effect. It all happens so fast you never really get to see his Johnson, but it is still a pretty hot scene by one of the finest actors ever to grace the screen. We're cheering for him to deal with his PTSD and keep flashing that good D throughout Chattahoochee!
