Colonia (2016)

Thriller Colonia (2016) brings the audience back to the turmoil of 1973’s Chile. At the time the country was divided between an increasingly socialist government and disagreeing private factions, leading to the stories Chilean military coup. At the center of Colonia is a young couple in love who become entangled in the brutality of conflict. Lena (Emma Watson) must search for her lover Daniel (Daniel Brühl) after he is kidnapped by a rebel group. In order to rescue Daniel, Lena must join the cult of Paul Schäfer, which nobody has ever escaped from. Will Lena and Daniel make history, or will they be history?
