Hold on to your South of the Mason Dixon Line, because we have a lot of southern studs to cover today on the blog. Last night saw the much-anticipated season fourpremiere of ABCs sudsiest of soaps, Nashville. Although the show is known for throwing the quintessential television drama our way (drug addiction, unexpected pregnancies, death, cheating you know the drill) were most interested in its absolute smorgasbord of truly gorgeous guys. The southern gents arent gentle on the genitals, so you may want to read this in a private place. Well give you a second to excuse yourself.
And were back. Although each and everyman here is always welcome to sit a spell in our holler, we've ranked them for your convenience.
These rankings are based on hotness, amount of skin shown, and character likability. Nashville is cutthroat, and so are we.
9)Oliver Hudson as Jeff Fordham
Oh, Jeff Fordham, you are lower than a toad's belly on a mudflat!The CEO of Rayna's (Connie Britton)'s record label tried to capitalize financially off of her coma (and release a record against her will, mind you)and even though Oliver Hudson has a beautiful bod, his character isbanished to the bottom of the list. Sorry not sorry.
8)Nick Jandl as Dr. Caleb Rand
We loveNick Jandl, we really do. The blue-eyed hottie playsDr. Caleb Randon the show and was even able to steal the heart ofsongstressScarlettO'Connor. Unfortunately his season threeappearance on Nashville was brief, and coincidentallyNick didn't show us his briefs.
7)Eric Close as Teddy Conrad
It pains us to put Eric Close so close to the bottom of this list. Unfortunatelythe politician-playing hottieneglects his most devoted district - the one in our pants, as hehas not been generous with the skin.
6)Will Chase as Luke Wheeler
What's that hilarious southern saying that would be perfect for this post? We can't remember, because we're too busy looking at country superstar Luke Wheeler (Will Chase in the real world)and his beautiful bod!
5)Derek Krantz as Brent McKinney
We are so insanely glad that Derek Krantz and his gorgeous body joined the cast of Nashville. His character Brent McKinney is openly gay, but he was involved in a tricky secretrelationship with Will Lexington (Chris Carmack).We would never keep you hidden!
4)Sam Palladio as Gunnar Scott
Well we do declare::whipsout magnolia embroideredhandkerchiefto gently dabbrow:: Sam Palladio as Gunnar Scott helped get Nashville off the ground when it first premiered, and has had our heart ever since. Gunnar sends chillsdown our... spine when he sings, and we severely hated (just for a second) Scarlettwhen the two of them got together. Sam is stingy with the skin, but we'll take what we can get.
3)Chris Carmack as Will Lexington
We doth not protest when it comes to Chris Carmack and his chiseled face and deliciously fuzzy chest. Chris' character, country heartthrobWill Lexington, helped get the Nashville gay scene going when he came out as a lover of peen early in the show.
2)Charles Esten as Deacon Claybourne
Just the name Deacon Claybourne gives us an achy breaky heart. We just... don't think you'd understand. Deacon provided thesupport and creative influence necessary to bolster Rayna's confidence in season 1, and gave the show it's first big helping of sexy man meat. Deacon forever!
1)Kyle Dean Massey as Kevin Bicks
Well my word.The only, we mean the only, thing that could outrank our dearDeacon is prime time bulge. Kyle Dean Massey is smoking hotand knows how to wear the hell out of a pair of tiny, tight undies. His character, Kevin Bicks, is an out and proud country singer who forgoes super stardom for being his true self. It's no real brainteaser to understand why the other fellas of Nashville don't hate the chiseled beauty. Now, we welcome all the men on this list to join Kyle in shedding their britches toshow us their bloomers!
