Review

The title of the Finnish biographical drama film Ganes (2007)—which is perhaps most notable for being the first film from Finland to be released on Blu-ray—comes from a nickname for the real life Finnish rock band at the center of the story, which went by the name of Hurriganes. Directed by Jukka-Pekka Siili, the film tells the story of the band over the years, and does so entirely from the perspective of the band’s drummer, Remu Aaltonen, who’s played by Finnish hottie Eero Milonoff, who shows off all he’s got in a big way in a couple of different scenes—one in which he’s naked while doing some drugs in a bedroom, and another in which he strips down in front of a whole bunch of people while standing on a bridge. Olavi Uusivirta also gets in on the fun, briefly showing off his also impressive package in a nude scene set at a police station. There’s enough hot stuff in this Finnish movie to make sure you finish before it does!
