Hacksaw Ridge (2016)

Based on a 2004 documentary, Hacksaw Ridge (2016) got a 2017 "Best Picture" Oscar nomination for its true-life portrayal of war hero Desmond Doss (Andrew Garfield), a medic on the front lines of the Battle of Okinawa during WWII. The big difference between Doss and other Medal of Honor recipients? He refused to drop bombs, shoot at the enemy or even touch a gun, making him a Conscientious Objector. Yes, Desmond was a peace loving Seventh Day Adventist committed to nonviolence after he almost kills his brother while they're fighting as kids. But when the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor, he knows he has to do whatever he can to help America win the war. Signing up for the Army, Desmond is loathed by his fellow soldiers for refusing to train on Saturdays and being unwilling to even pick up a rifle, so much so that they try to get him Court Martialed. But when it's time for battle, Desmond proves to be one of the bravest men anyone could imagine, often charging into enemy fire to save his fellow soldiers. He's such a badass and saves so many lives, he even goes on to win The Congressional Medal of Honor. Any man that saves soldier boys' hot bods is a hero to us! The film is directed by Mel Gibson and stars Vince Vaughn and Sam Worthington as his commanders to boot, making for much man candy all at once. Andrew himself doesn't get naked (bummer), but he does go shirtless, letting us see his lean torso. But if you're looking for a hot piece of ass whose ass Desmond just might have to save, Luke Pegler plays a naked soldier who shows off his buns and does bicep-flexing pull-ups in the barracks. Then we see him crawling naked in the mud as part of training. Who knew boot camp featured so much booty? We salute you, Luke! Want to do some pegging?
