His brilliant mind paved the way for the flashy fashions of the '70s, and his life was filled with everything excess: From sex to cocaine to money. It's the '70s after all! Halston first made headlines in the '60s when Jackie Kennedy wore one of his couture hats, and he parlayed that success into a dress-making business in the '70s.
