Luca Guadagnino hit us with a bang with Call Me By Your Name and then again with his fascinating take on Suspiria (that is honestly so different from the original that it shouldn't be called a 'remake').

Luca's series is called We Are Who We Are and focuses on two fourteen-year-olds named Fraser Wilson and Caitlin Harper who lives on an army base in Italy. Fraser is originally from New York City, so he's the outsider in Italy who misses his male friend from home. He eventually develops a romantic relationship with an older soldier and that's the part that has us particularly excited.

We're excited about this new series for a few obvious reasons. One, we love the gay themes. We especially love the gay themes taking place in Luca's beautiful home country which sounds familiar coming from Luca. Secondly, Luca's projects are just getting steamier. While Call Me By Your Name didn't feature outright cocks and cut away during the sex scenes, Suspiria did show some cock.

While he's busy working on a proposed sequel to Call Me By Your Name(which we hope has a lot more sex), we are so happy to have this upcoming series to enjoy. Will you be watching? We know we will! More importantly, we can't wait to see who is cast. Who would be your dream cast for another steamy romance in Italy?
