Holy Family (2022-2023)

A dark family drama from Mexican writer/director Manolo Caro, it starts with a woman giving birth in 1998 and then jumps ahead a year to show “Gloria”, the same mysterious woman and her baby newly arrived in an upscale part of Madrid and hanging with her neighborhood friends, all woman in various stages of motherhood. Gloria has two older children “Aitana” (who she outwardly pretends is just an au pair for the baby) and “Abel” (who she keeps locked in the basement during the day). The family is desperately trying to keep their past and real identities hidden, though they’re not the only neighbors with secrets. And in between the lingering threat of both past and future violence, things get mighty sexy, with a stunning side-by-side of both older sibs getting it on with their respective partners. Iván Pellicer’s Abel gets his juicy rump eaten out by a neighbor’s husband (Álex Garcia) who then bangs him on the floor of a club, while his sister is given a ride by her boyfriend Marco (Álvaro Rico), who also shows his booty! Then we get a fantastic view of everyone’s butts from the side as they spoon their beds. Holy moly, that’s one hot montage!
