With more than one hundred credits to his name, actor Jay Acovone is the working man’s stiff (which may explain why he makes Mr. Man stiff). For four decades, the New York native has strolled onto set, delivered a professional performance, and clocked out without any fuss. Through the years, Jay has appeared in the blockbusters Independence Day (1996), Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles (2001), and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The hardworking hottie also sizzled on the small screen with guest spots on mysteries (Monk, Murder, She Wrote, The X-Files) and police procedurals (Criminal Minds, Matlock, NCIS, NYPD Blue). In addition to popping up on the hit sitcom Friends (1995), Jay could be seen doing his thing on the steamy cable shows Silk Stalkings (1991-1998) and Red Shoe Diaries (1996), which includes views of his nude booty! As a soap opera star, the boob tube babe played Brian Emmerson on Search for Tomorrow (1983-1984) and Joe Smith on General Hospital (2008). Of course, Jay is best known for portraying Major Charles Kawalsky on the science fiction series Stargate SG-1 (1997-2005). Yet we prefer his revealing role in Cruising (1980).
