Tall, traditionally handsome Santa Monica native Josh Pence rowed while a student at Dartmouth, which helps explain why he was the body double of big time stud Armie Hammer in The Social Network (2010). While it’s certainly a compliment to have your physique compared to Hammer’s, it’s not so great to have Hammer’s face digitally grafted onto your own in postproduction to make it look like he's a pair of twins, and never actually appear on screen. But Josh didn't let it get him down. With his gorgeous face and top notch bod, Pence had already done some episodes of stuff like CSI: Miami and CSI: NY before his work in the Facebook flick. But after he was the double we'd love to let double team us, Josh's career really took off. He was a Navy man in Battleship (2010), Young Ra's Al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises (2012), and most notably, the hotshot University of Wisconsin quarterback who couldn't get any teammates to attend his birthday party, Bo Callahan in Draft Day (2014). A first rounder in a draft of dudes we want a reach around from, after playing social worker Tony Hughes on Revenge, in 2016 we first got a look at his hot, Armie Hammer-y body in a fifth season episode of American Horror Story. Josh plays Nick Harley, who we'd really like to straddle and go for a ride on, in a typically weird/sexy/gross AHS scene where Pence is shirtless the entire time while having sex with a woman, while another woman injects the two with drugs. She even pricks Pence’s prick in the process. The scene doesn’t end well for Pence’s character, but seeing Pence’s six-pack made our lives richer, and certainly helped us finish! Emma Stone ditched him during a dinner date in La La Land (2016), and was the perfect Aryan man, Hans in The Man in the High Castle, but since 2019 Josh has been killing it as Dennis Cooper on the spinoff of The Fosters, Good Trouble. Dennis is a forty something aspiring musician who has us perspiring seeing him shirtless in a towel. From double to Good Trouble, we can't wait to see what Josh Pence does next!
