Love & Basketball (2000)

In 1981 in Los Angeles a girl named Monica moves in next door to a boy named Quincy. They are both 11 and both want to play professional basketball. Love & Basketball (2000) follows their lives through childhood, high school, college and into adulthood as their relationship changes while they chase their dreams.

Omar Epps plays Quincy and we are treated to many great shots of him working hard and sweating on the court. He looks great in his uniform or in shorts and shirtless playing a pickup game. You will be double dribbling your balls when he plays a game of strip basketball with his girlfriend. He doesn’t fare so well and ends up in the raw. As he walks over to kiss her we get a great shot of his athletic rear in action.
