Even if you don't know him by name, Marton Csoskas is one of the most successful Kiwi actors ever to transition to Hollywood, having landed huge roles in Mar-tons of hit movies. Born in Invercargill, a city way out to the South and West of New Zealand, Marton's journey to the spotlights of Hollywood started by studying acting at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, before he made his screen debut in the Wellington cop drama Shark in the Park. With his dark eyebrows, bruiting good looks and toned and tight body, acting success must have been a walk in the park for Marton. His first brush with the American stuff came when he did an episode of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, before landing a recurring role as Belach, a revenge seeking man angry that Xena seduced his dad and ruined his family on Xena: Warrior Princess. Already a fantasy mainstay, and already living in New Zealand, he was Celeborn, Lord of Lothlorien and he wisest Elf in Middle Earth in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), as well as a few sequels. On top of those enormously successful movies, soon enough, Marton was teaming up with all sorts of huge celebs like when he was Yorgi, the head Russian terrorist dueling with Vin Diesel in xXx (2002), the ITC employee hiding out in 14th Century France, William Decker in the Paul Walker time travel thriller Timeline (2003), and Jarda, Treadstone's top Italian assassin chasing Matt Damon in The Bourne Supremacy (2004). Just as hot as any of those huge names, Marton showed he was a supreme piece of man meat when he first flashed in Asylum (2005). At one point in the England in the 60's drama, Martin's going crazy between a woman's legs, when something spooks him so he hops up and we see all of his good stuff. Mr. Csokas, we want to suck on that ass! Marton went back to the big stuff as the head bloodsucker Jack Barts in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012) and Dr. Ashley Kafka in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). After playing Teddy in The Equalizer (2014), which let us see his muscular back covered in tats, Marton starred as the longsword wielding (a literal long sword, unfortunately) Baron, Quinn in Into the Badlands (2015) in which he is shirtless, sweaty, and sexy a couple of times. His tattooed pecs and shoulders are just cherries on top of his bad boy shirtless chest. His broad shoulders and muscular pecs are everything we need on the big screen. Although, admittedly we would love to see his lower kiwis. He went shirtless again as Frances Carver in Starz's New Zealand gold rush of the 1860's drama The Luminaries but didn't illuminate us on what was under his baggy boxers. Most recently Marton reteamed with Damon to play Crespin in The Last Duel (2021). He may have kept his clothes on, but we doubt we've had our last drool to the work of Marton Csokas!
