Rat Fever (2012)

Great Nudity!

Review

The nudity in Rat Fever (2012) has our temperatures (among other things) on the rise! Not to be confused with the French/Italian horror flick Rats: Night of Terror (1983), this Brazilian drama follows a handsome hunk named Zizo (Irandhir Santos). In addition to being a poet and heavy drinker, the foreign fox is a devout anarchist. Indeed, he lives in a community with other artists and Bohemians where everyone (Ângela Leal, Conceição Camarotti, Maria Gladys, Mariana Nunes, Tânia Granussi) sleeps with everyone (Johnny Hooker, Juliano Cazarré, Matheus Nachtergaele, Vitor Araújo) and there are no repercussions. That is, until Zizo meets a lovely Latina called Eneida (Nanda Costa). As you can guess, he falls for her since she is everything he is not. It’s true what they say: polar opposites attract! Eneida agrees to be Zizo’s muse despite being wary about being pulled into his chaotic world. Speaking of being pulled, Señor Santos pulls out his little anarchist during a public performance. Nice piece of art! He strips naked while reciting a poem to a woman who is also doffing her duds. Nothing is left to the imagination as Irandhir stands on top of a car and goes full frontal. When the police show up, he does battle with them in the raw. Needless to say, we’d love to frisk every inch of the skintastic actor’s fit frame! Also known as Febre do Rato, this Portuguese-speaking movie needs little translation since Irandhir’s revealing role offers universal appeal. Mr. Man loves some foreign tongue!
