Review

Moscow detective Captain Ivan Danko (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and wise guy Chicago detective Sargent Art Ridzic (James Belushi) team up to find a Russian mobster in Red Heat (1988). Viktor Rostavili (Ed O'Ross) is the Mafioso in question in the Walter Hill directed comedy, and he just need to go back to Moscow. Along the way Danko causes a fit because his diplomatic licenses prohibits him from carrying a firearm, half of downtown Chicago is destroyed during a high speed Greyhound bus chase, and Viktor is side swiped by train. Still the true heat in this buddy action flick comes when Schwarzenegger bares his booty during a trip to the sauna. Now that’s red HOT!
