Sauvage / Wild (2019)

Sauvage/Wild (2018) is a French film that rocked Cannes with its gritty, realistic and unflinching look at selling sausage. This graphic story stars Félix Maritaud as an unnamed young man who works as a male prostitute. He's homeless and constantly hungry but doesn't seem to hate his chosen profession even if deep down he's always on the lookout for love. His doctor (Marie Seux) wants him to stop doing drugs, but he's cool with it. Plus, cash isn't hard to come by thanks to his willingness to service the old, the ugly, the handicapped, and all sorts of other fellas his fellow manwhores refuse to service. But there's only so much street living and sex selling you can do before something bad happens, and in this one that's a degrading sex scene that reportedly had a few members of the Cannes audience heading for the exits. Unsurprisingly, given the subject matter, Mr. Marituad gets fully naked again and again when he's paid to have sex with all kinds of men. He even uses the biggest butt plug ever when he's doing degrading anal sex acts for two men who do not pay him. Up theirs! He and Eric Bernard have a threesome with Lucas Bleger, both baring their buns in the process. It's great, even if Mr. Bleger has the body of a blogger.
