Known equally for a consistent set of impressive sideburns and a propensity to drop trou in numerous films, Scott Caan is living up to his father’s legacy of being a memorable actor (Dad is James Caan). His shorter stance at 5’5” is made up for by his width, and by that, Mr. Man means his beefcake chest and biceps, which he regularly keeps pumped at optimum pec performance. His physique may be habit, formed when he did everything to avoid the acting profession while growing up, turning to sports instead. He later ventured into music, taking on the rap alias Mad Skillz in a duo, and even signing an ill-fated contract with Tommy Boy Records. Eventually, though, he fell into the family business, and co-starred with his dad in his first on-screen appearance as Steve in the film A Boy Called Hate (1995). A great, full-body shot of Scott can be seen in the movie Varsity Blues (1999), when his character Charlie Tweeder tries to coax co-star James Van Der Beek into trouble, stepping out of a stolen cop car wearing nothing but a cowboy hat held in place over his nether regions. Since then, Scott has been in multiple big movies, including playing Turk Malloy in Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven (2001) with Brad Pitt and George Clooney, and its follow-ups, Ocean’s Twelve(2004) and Ocean’s Thirteen (2007). He also appeared in Enemy of the State (1998) with Will Smith, Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000) with Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie, Into the Blue (2005) with Jessica Alba, and Rock the Kasbah (2015) with Bill Murray. On television, he played Scott Lavin in HBO’s Entourage from 2009-2011, and had a series-leading role as Danny Williams in primetime’s Hawaii Five-O from 2010-2020, filming well over 200 episodes.
