Indie rock darling St. Vincent - real name Annie Clark - is known for her guitar virtuoso skills, artistic live shows and music videos, and incredible fashion. The singer identifies as "sexually fluid" and has been known to date prominent musicians and models. But withall her fashion and music choices, we've been wondering: why isn't she releasing gay anthems we can dance to? Well, she finally delivered one to us!
She decided to re-work her song Slow Disco from her album Masseduction. The music video for Fast Slow Disco shows St. Vincent singing and dancing among men in leather and men showing plenty of skin as they gleefully dance in close, sweaty proximity to each other.
