The Amateurs (2005)

The Amateurs (2005) is a movie grounded in the lucrative pornography industry, but not in the way that you may think. Hapless Andy (Jeff Bridges) is a recent divorcee trying to get his ex-wife back from her uber-wealthy new husband. He doesn't have much money—or talent—to his name, though, so he has to think outside the box to get rich quick.

So what does he do? He creates a team of other dudes and sets out to make the first full-length amateur adult film, casting the men and women directly from his small town. Moose (Ted Danson) is just one of the lucky leading men to volunteer to star in the film, baring his bottom for everyone during shooting. This independent comedy, written and directed by Michael Traeger, is a hilarious take on a midlife crisis that ends in everyone stripping down for the sake of small-town success.
