The Anomaly (2014)

The sci-fi thriller The Anomaly (2014) co-stars Noel Clarke as Ryan, a former soldier, current PTSD sufferer, that is knocked out and nabbed by some devious individuals. When the abducted dude gains consciousness, he finds himself shrouded in darkness in the back of a van, sitting next to a terrified kid (Art Parkinson) that he’s apparently holding captive. It appears that Ryan has 9-minutes, 47-seconds to access his dire situation before he is reset and carried off to another situation. Eventually we discover that he is a victim of mind-control experiments devised by the mysterious psychologist Professor Langham (Brian Cox), and the frantic jumping about the universe is the product of a glitch in the experiment. Looks like the evil apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, because the mind-fucking prof’s son, Harkin (Ian Somerhalder), has the uncanny ability to follow the dimension-hopping abductee. It’s up to the bio-tech controlled soldier to save the kidnapped kid in the van, and warn the world about Langham’s megalomaniacal plans for world domination. Thankfully, Noel Clarke finds time to indulge in a steamy moment of choke-out sex with a lucky lady, and he ultimately gives us a look at his buns and backsack as he gets out of bed to access the handy work of his powerful grip. We’d like to be Lewis to this Clarke and go on some sex-filled explorations with him!
