The Back-Up Plan (2010)

Telling the story of how a family can be formed under unconventional means, The Back-Up Plan (2010) follows Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) who is single with no relationship chances on the horizon. Zoe decides she wants a baby so she gets artificially inseminated. Shortly after she meets Stan (Alex O’Loughlin) and feels herself falling for him. When she tells him about her situation he doesn’t run, but instead embraces it.

This is a rated PG-13 romantic comedy so don’t expect much skin, but Alex O’Loughlin does go shirtless on a few occasions. After a roll in the hay, Alex is left with his shirt open, sweaty and exhausted while JLO breaks the news that she is preggers. As he sits up to listen to her it’s an abtastic moment. In another scene Alex looks so good shirtless he literally causes a traffic accident. While Jen is driving and checking out his fine frame she finds herself paying more attention to his chest than the road and hits a tree. Who can blame her?
