The Big Squeeze (1996)

Poor Benny (Peter Dobson), gets thrown off a train after cheating in a card game, but as luck would have it, he rolls right into the middle of  Tanya’s (Lara Flynn Boyle) life. Tanya has been supporting her former baseball player husband Jesse (Danny Nucci) and waiting for his insurance check to come in.  When it does, things get complicated in Big Squeeze, The (1996).  Now Tanya has to convince Benny to help her get her share of the cash.  There’s a scam involved which plays to Benny’s few skills.

It’s too bad they couldn’t squeeze more skin into this drama.  There is some mild sexuality, but not enough to squeeze out too much enthusiasm.  There is a brief heine sighting of Danny Nucci’s backside while he’s in bed.  Sometimes less is more, but we can always hope for more.
