Three very different young women heat up the artsy vampire movie The Hunger (1983). There's New York City's downtown diva Ann Magnuson as a disco-dancing victim of the bloodsuckers. Those bloodsuckers are John Blaylock (David Bowie) and the second siren, Miriam Blaylock (Catherine Deneuve), a dangerous and immortal vampire that promises specially chosen human eternal life as her lover. And finally, completing the vampy triangle is Dr. Sarah Roberts (Susan Sarandon), a gerontologist who is trying to develop the fountain of youth. When John abruptly and inexplicably begins to age, Miriam turns to Sarah for help. And the view turns to David Bowie to provide the only male flesh in the film. The Thin White Duke shows off his slender frame in two bizarre and sexy scenes. Mr. Bowie will certainly satisfy your hunger for flesh!
