The Master (2012)

The director who brought us the fleshtastic flick Boogie Nights (1997), Paul Thomas Anderson, returns with a tale that may or may not be related to Hollywood’s favorite ant-psychiatry organization (you know the one) in the epic drama The Master (2012). Phillip Seymour Hoffman stars as the charismatic leader of a group known only as The Cause, along with Amy Adams as his sexually adventurous wife and Joaquin Phoenix as his conflicted right-hand man, in post-WWII California. Speaking of right hands, Joaquin gives us a glimpse of his beach bum while wanking away while relaxing near the sea. It’s not much skin from the Hollywood hunk, but what he does give is a Master-piece!
