The Matchmaker's Playbook (2018)

You may not score a lot of nudity with The Matchmaker’s Playbook (2018), but it’s still worth a look — especially if you’re partial to perfect pecs. Not to be confused with the David O. Russell rom-com Silver Linings Playbook (2012) starring Bradley Cooper and Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, Tosca Musk’s rom-com stars Nick Bateman and Caitlin Carver. Alas, this flick isn’t going to win any Academy (or Anatomy) Awards. The story kicks off when NFL recruit Ian Hunter (Bateman) must quit the game due to a serious injury. Consequently, he tries out a new game: working for a dating service called Wingmen. Yet when he tries to give frumpy Blake Olson (Carver) a makeover, he’s the one who gets made over. Along the way, we encounter David (Trey Tucker), Julio (Lano Medina), Lex (Tyler Johnson), and the song “If You Were An Ocean” by Shelly Lenna Bauerly and Mike Burke. Maybe that’s why this Amazon flick is getting us wet. More likely, it’s due to the fit physique on the movie’s lovely leading man. Whether lounging on a bed indoors or playing volleyball outside, we get to see shirtless Nick showing off his awesome abs. If that’s not hot enough, the hottie also steams up the small screen when he sheds his threads to get into the shower. The skintastic act lets us view the dude’s nude booty! Needless to say, the wet hunk will make a splash in your pants. Obviously, Mr. Bateman is baiting us — and we’re hooked!
