The Mysteries of Laura (2014-2016)

Debra Messing stars as the titular police officer in the dramedy crime series The Mysteries of Laura. There’s really no mysteries about Laura—she’s a manic, stress-eating homicide detective that has a life that’s crazier outside of the office. Laura is supposed to be like a female Colombo, but she manages to maintain her slim, girlish figure. When she’s not putting killers away, she dealing with two bratty kids and a manchild husband, who just happens to be her boss, that won’t sign their divorce papers. But thanks to her sexy and compassionate partner Billy (Laz Alonso), Laura just might survive. Thanks to a shirtless, underwear-clad appearance by Eric McCormack on season one, episode sixteen, you just might consider watching this terrible show.
