The Other Boleyn Girl (2003)

The first of The Other Boleyn Girl movies, this 2003 version aired on BBC. Here's a recap of the plot, based on the original novel by Philippa Gregory: The Boleyn family was wealthy and well-known in the royal court during Henry VIII (Jared Harris)'s reign. Mary, one of the Boleyn sisters, is taken as a mistress to the king despite being married, but is soon replaced with her more ambitious and fickle sister Anne. Despite initially just being a mistress, she eventually displaces Queen Catherine and has a daughter - followed by many miscarriages that eventually result in her execution. That's a bummer. Luckily we get to see Jared's bare buns as he's boning Anne!
