The Righteous Gemstones (2019-2023)

The HBO series The Righteous Gemstones comes from comedy mastermind Danny McBride, who specializes in mixing bonkers characters and absurdist situations with genuinely touching moments. Following his hit HBO shows Eastbound & Down and Vice Principals, this comedy centers around the Gemstone family, who run a money-making megachurch the family's aging patriarch Eli (John Goodman) began. The members of the Gemstone family differ in their beliefs, but they're all raking in the dough thanks to their uber-popular and powerful religious empire that cashes in on suckers who have no idea how much sinning the Gemstones actually do. Eli is a business genius, but none of his kids are capable of carrying on the family legacy, for one reason or another. Jesse (Danny McBride) loves drugs and hookers, Kelvin (Adam Devine) is too much of a baby to be trusted with anything but leading the youth events, and Judy (Edi Patterson) is too neurotic to function. Infighting ensues, and for four seasons starting in 2019, HBO viewers had front row seats to the heavenly carnage. You'll feel a higher power in your pants when you see James DuMont's body double show his penis and balls in a cellphone video that's shown to a room full of people! It's not exactly a Du-monster, but it'll Du the trick! Walton Goggins, on the other hand, picked a body double that'd have you gagging, since he's quite a bit bigger. Tim Baltz decided to use a trick dick, flashing some prosthetic while in the bathtub, but none of those scenes are as wild as when Tony Cavalero sticks his cock in a dude's eye when he's peeking into a peephole. Jeepers creepers, we'd stick our mouth in that peeper! But that wasn't his actual cock, either! What the Heck?
