The Scarlet Letter (1995)

This retelling of the Nathaniel Hawthorne classic follows the life Hester Prynne who learns that her husband has died fighting Indians. She starts a relationship with a local pastor that soon turns to love. After they have sex and she gives birth to their baby, her husband shows up, alive and well. Hester is shamed into wearing a scarlet A for adultery while her husband seeks revenge against her lover.

This is a pretty deep story, but in this version of it there are also some pretty erotic and intense scenes. Gary Oldman plays the pastor in question and shows us his proper British bum when he strips naked to take a bath. When he gets out the water there is a quick shot of his little Sirius Black. Robert Duvall loves the smell of a sideage shot in the morning and that is exactly what he gives us when we see him standing fully nude and shaving one morning after a bath. He looks good from the side with his veteran booty popping out there and looking plenty firm.
