The X-Files (1993-2016)

One of the most successful sci-fi shows of all time, The X-Files ran on Fox for nine seasons from 1993-2002. The show dealt with two FBI agents Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) who investigated cases that had strange, supernatural, and otherworldly explanations. Over the course of the series, they ran up against a number of roadblocks, including a secret cabal of officials who were seeking to protect the secrets behind these cases. Since this was a regular network series, there wasn't much nudity to speak of, sadly, though on the first season episode "Toomes," we did get to see a bit of butt as well as some sensational shirtlessness from Doug Hutchison as he emerges from a cocoon to chase Mulder! The truth is out there, and the truth is that The X-Files is still a pretty sexy show!
