Are you here looking for Jeremy Allen White? It's nothing to be ashamed of, but you're in the wrong place. Yes, before Showtime's massive hit started in 2010, Shameless was a breakout British comedy from 2004 to 2013. The plot should be familiar to fans of the American show, even if the city names aren't. Shamelessfollows the exploits of Frank Gallagher (David Threlfall), a frequently drunk and jobless resident of Manchester’s Chatsworth Estates public housing projects whose kids have learned to get by with his lack of parenting. Frank’s daughter Fiona (Anne-Marie Duff) has taken on the role of mother to her teenage brothers Lip (Jody Latham) and Ian (Gerard Kearns), who is a closeted homosexual. To top off the crazy, the dysfunctional family has porn stars for neighbors! Stuff that'll throw the Yanks off include the low production value, the influence of Irish mobsters on the plot, the fact that Frank's a better dude in the British version, and that there's no Svetlana at all. One thing that's very much the same? All the skin! There’s no shame in nudity, especially in this hit television show. Among the bevy of brave blokes baring their best assets are a young James McAvoy shows a bit of balls banging a woman in the kitchen, and Ciaran Griffiths who sports a massive hard on walking around in a towel before tearing it off and showing his tight tush. This show's version of Lip, Jody Latham, displays his donkey while stripping down and changing, while this one's Frank deserves a good spank when David Threlfall ends up in bed with a dominatrix. We don't kink shame, but it's a pretty funny scene! Elliott Tittensor shows a hottie his ass before she blows him, but it’s Dean Lennox Kelly’s four star, full frontal of his flaccid (and hefty) fellow that is the most memorable of the show. Top notch peen, Dean! Those crazy Brits love to show their bits! You're blameless for not knowing there was a British Shameless, but shame on you if you don't give it a watch!
