The Circle (2014)

Set in Zurich in the late 40s and early 50s, The Circle (2014) tells the story of bashful schoolteacher Ernst Ostertag (Matthias Hungerbühler) and drag entertainer Röbi Rapp (Sven Schelker) who meet each other and develop a relationship when they meet in an organization called The Circle, an underground society that publishes a magazine of gay fiction/erotica and photography. While Ernst finds himself torn between his place in society and his love for Röbi, but it’s quite the opposite for Röbi, who is thrilled to be in his first serious homosexual relationship. Interspersed in the film is documentary interviews with the real Ostertag and Rapp. Also included in the film is an anal-riffic, butt-baring, sack-teasing interlude between Sebastian Ledesma and Antoine Monot Jr. Who could ask for anything more!
