Tomato Red: Blood Money (2017)

Red is both the color of blood and the color of tomatoes, hence the exceedingly clever title of the crime drama Tomato Red: Blood Money (2017)! Animal Kingdom hunk Jake Weary stars as Sammy, a drifter who makes his way to a small desert town in search of a place to start his life over again. At first, he seems to be right at home in this sparsely populated town, as it seems most everyone in town is running from something themselves. Sammy begins making friends and getting his first taste of what this new life could be like, but—to paraphrase William Faulkner—while Sammy may be through with the past, the past isn't through with him. However, he's also finally found something worth taking a stand for, something worth fighting for, and possibly worth dying for, so whatever is headed his way will have to contend with a whole new Sammy. While the flick doesn't deliver any of that hot gay sex we've come to expect from Jake after his time spent on Animal Kingdom, he does spend a substantial amount of screen time sans shirt. Whether he's shirtless in his underwear, shirtless in jeans, working out shirtless, or even unbuttoning his shirt to show off his phenomenal physique, Jake rocks no shirt almost as well as your average dude rocks a shirt! Sure, it's a bit of a letdown considering how often he was getting busy on Animal Kingdom, but spending time in the company of a shirtless Jake Weary is guaranteed to leave you feeling anything but weary!
