Though his home base is Israel, you’ll probably recognize Tomer Kapon, aka Tomer Capone, for his Hollywood adventures. Fans of the Amazon series The Boys will know him as Frenchie from 2019-2022, and for his semi-naked scenes on the show. Born and raised in Israel, the swarthy gentleman had a pretty normal upbringing. As required, he joined the military for several years after school, becoming a paratrooper in the Lebanon War. When his time in the military was done, he moved to Tel Aviv and started taking acting classes. He made his debut as the character Guy in the Israeli TV series Bnei Aruba from 2013-2016, and it was so popular, Netflix picked it up to show the world, naming it Hostages. The same thing happened with the Israeli series Fauda, where Tomer played Boaz. You can also see Nadav in the USA network mini-series Dig (2015), and as The Pioneer in the Natalie Portman-directed A Tale of Love and Darkness (2015). Starring as Zooler in the film Shavua ve Yom (2016), aka One Week and a Day, Tomer took home an Ophir Award from the Israel Film Academy for Best Supporting Actor (the equivalent of an Oscar). Following that, he did back-to-back series, playing Daniel in Charlie Gold One in 2016, Idan Perri in Fullmoon from 2017-2018, Aviv Danino in When Heroes Fly in 2018, The Boys from 2019-2022, and Moti Mor in One on One from 2020-2021. With his rising popularity in Hollywood, he was cast in the sci-fi movie Slingshot (2023) with Laurence Fishburne and Casey Affleck. Mr. Man feels like there’s a pun to be made with a name like Tomer, but he’s too busy ogling said guy to ponder.
