The teen mystery series Twisted focuses on Danny Desai (Avan Jogia), a charming sixteen-year-old who killed his aunt when he was eleven-years-old. What a sweet kid! Danny just finished serving his five-year sentence in juvenile detention, and now he’s headed back to his small hometown to get on with his life. While trying to rebuild his friendships with childhood buddies, Jo (Ashton Moio) and Lacey Porter (Kylie Bunbury), and dealing with his unforgiving neighbors, Danny’s past haunts him when he becomes suspect number one in the death of a fellow classmate. Determined to clear his besmirched name, Danny aggressively tries to solve the murder case. Why did Danny kill his aunt? Good question.
