Three vignettes merged together with one common point of pain, terror and the horrible acts committed to the innocent by mad men with guns. Where We Go from Here, written, directed and starring Anthony Meindl spans the globe from Binghamton to Orlando to Paris, all of which share the tragedy of a mass shooting affecting the lives of people trying to live their everyday life. Director Anthony Meindl paints a portrait of these people's lives before the incidents occur, humanizing them in a way by showing their vulnerable real lives and relationships in a way that makes you understand that real people have real problems. A teacher with an abusive home life, and gay couple having trouble at home, and a group of French friends having an introspective night. Despite the heavy subject matter, this movie tastefully juxtaposes between drama and humor from several characters, especially the director's character Ricky and Raul (Matt Pascua), who have several love scenes together and both actors make their Nude-Comer debut in this one, so definitely don't miss that is you're in this one for more than the dramatic content!
