It's every movie-goer's favorite time of the year: the summer blockbuster time. Summer is when Hollywood tends to do two things: dump movies that they don't really know what to do with in theaters and release big star-studded movies that feel more like vehicles to eat popcorn to. And guess what? I love both of those kinds of movies!
This summer features a ton of fascinating movies hitting the theaters, so let's dive in and see who's hot in these sizzling summer movies! Will any of these people go nude? Let's see:
Hit Man
There are ads everywhere pushing the June 7th release of Hit Man. That's because the star is very hot right now. Glen Powell stars as a Hit Man in disguise...a lot of disguises. Will this be the movie that proves that Glen Powell is a summertime mainstay? Is he box office gold? If he shows his ass again like he did in his romantic comedy Anyone But You, then I think it's safe to say yes.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die
Bad Boys is back, baby! The beloved 1995 comedy with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith is coming back for another ride. While Martin and Will are both older and wiser - and neither of them have big nudity resumes - I will always hold out hope for more of Will Smith's ass. At this point in his career, what does he have to lose?
Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1
This film - or series of films - is going to be a huge deal. Kevin Costner stars in and directs this - I don't know what to call it - cinema experience? Kevin is bringing us this lengthy chronicle of the American West before and after the Civil War. It covers fifteen years and allegedly 12 chapters.
Chapters 1 and 2 are going to be released this summer and they are both going to be released in theaters. So this is not a limited series. This is a series of films. Is this groundbreaking? If Kevin shows cock, then yes. If he doesn't do it, then I hope the other actors do!
Westerns are also known for giving us men, men, and more manly men. Men to look forward to watching include Giovanni Ribisi, Tom Payne, Michael Rooker, Danny Huston, Luke Wilson, and Jamie Campbell Bower.
The Exorcism
Russell Crowe is in his priest era right now. Joshua John Miller who wrote Final Girls wrote this film, mining from some of his life as his father Jason Miller was in the original Exorcist film. This meta-horror film is about a young man who directs a horror movie about an actor playing a priest in a film that is essentially The Exorcist. So this film really blends the writer's reality and fiction because...his dad played Father Karras in The Exorcist.
Russell Crowe is making fascinating moves right now. I sincerely hope those moves include more moves towards taking off his clothes! He's shown his ass a lot - and even his back sack in Virtuosity. What will he show next?
