I love many things about men, but I especially love men's underwear. Whether it's tight, loose, long, short, covered in Bart from the Simpson's or a neutral shade a la Calvin Klein, men's underwear is the best. Lucky for me, mode.com put together a most beautiful with most beautiful males: "100 Years of Men's Underwear."

The videofeatures two paritcularly dashing men wearing a variety of underpants that have been popular since 1916. While the female counterpart of this video featured quite a bit more variety, the trajectory is interesting.

It goes a little like this: It started with long johns, which don't even seem like they have easy access holes. Then the trend moved to shorter long johns without full-on pants and sleeves. (Easier access by nature, I imagine.) Then briefs made their debut, followed by boxers . . . then HIGHER boxers . . . then tighter briefs. What is going on here???

Anways, eventually we rounded the corner to today's Calvin Kleins, which are currently dominating the market due to optimal bulge and celebrity placement. I gotta hand it to you, Calvin. You know what you're doing.
