Tyler Perry churns out content. The mega-producer is responsible for so much Black entertainment and is one of the biggest power players in the Atlanta film and television scene. There have been rumors over the years about Perry's feelings toward homosexuality. Recently his work has skewed a little gayer than usual and his latest show Beauty in Black is the gayest one yet. You've got to see this gay Black show!
Tyler Perry has had a history of flirting with gay themes and accusations over the years. From literally performing in drag to play Medea to casting attractive and muscular young men to play roles in his movies and TV shows, Perry does feel like a member of the community. He's even been compared to a Black Ryan Murphy with his penchant for sexy casting and producing so many projects that it's hard to keep up.
Are these just rumors? Maybe, but his shows have gotten gayer recently.
BET's Ruthless is about a woman who infiltrates a cult to save her sister who has recently become a member. The cult leader appears to have sex with everyone and as the series went on, he seemed to prefer having sex with men. We've seen some gay content on Ruthless which now feels like Perry was testing the waters with what was to come.
Now we have Beauty in Black which is supposedly about two women with very different pasts who team up. One of the women is a hard-working stripper with bad luck and the other is a financially successful businesswoman who is part of a powerful makeup company. They team up and they are unstoppable and they aren't bothering to stop the hot men who are taking off clothes for each other. There are numerous scenes where these men are shirtless - and even fully nude - together.
There are locker room scenes that show off naked men in the background. You might work up a sweat watching these muscular shirtless men surrounded by big booties in the background. This shit is gay, sir.
There are also gay sex scenes! We've already talked about Steven G. Norfleet who bangs Xavier Smalls. There is nothing small in this scene where we see muscular seats, large biceps, and pillowy pecs.
