The internet has been abuzz this week with talk about a new Adam Driver sex scene in his upcoming movie Annette. The film is set to be released in 2022 and his co-star is the French sex kitten, Marion Cotillard.
The film had its premiere at the 74th Cannes Film Festival and it is a wild musical comedy that sounds like it is a total trip. Adam plays a man on the verge of a nervous breakdown when he falls for an opera singer who is best known for dying onstage.
They have a baby named Annette who is played by a puppet and has amazing singing talents. That is the movie, in a nutshell. Am I excited for it? Absolutely. I obviously want to see this totally wild plot given to us by director Leo Carax who directed Holy Motors.
So there is a scene where Adam Driver appears to go down on Cotillard and sing into or around her vagina. Apparently, that is up for debate right now. Vulture reports that he, "does not sing directly into the depths of Marion Cotillard, but rather, pauses briefly in the act in order to repeat a line that she has just sung to him." Um, okay! He goes down on her again later in the movie, but with far less singing.
Adam Driver is no stranger to sex scenes. He starred in Girls, after all!
