It's a comedy. It's a thriller. It's gay. It's all of those things and more. It's Rotting in the Sun and it has people talking. What's. all the buzz about? It's about just how gay this fascinating film is. Honestly, the plot is really weird, so I'm ready to get into all of it!

Here's Why Rotting in the Sun is the Gayest Movie of the Year

Sebastian Silva stars in his latest film which he directed and co-wrote with Pedro Peirano. The film premiered at Sundance earlier this year and is now streaming on Mubi which is why everyone is talking about it. Oh, and it's filled with dudity and gay scenes. Do you like gay shit? Then this is the movie for you!

Sebastian is a depressed artist living in Mexico City and considering ending it all, but he instead goes to a gay nude beach. At the beach, he meets an American social media influencer named Jordan Firstman (playing himself) who happens to be a fan of Sebastian's work. The American thinks that their meeting must be a sign that they should collaborate on a project. At first, Sebastian brushes him off, but then heh as a pitch meeting with HBO. His pitch is tanking, so he pitches the idea that Jordan suggested they work on together. They love it.

Sebastian tells Jordan who then moves in with him to work on this project. In a weird freak accident where Sebastian moves a heavy couch while getting annoying phone calls from Jordan, Sebastian falls from a roof and dies. He dies!!! His housekeeper gets someone to help her clean up the body and Jordan arrives without knowing what happened to Sebastian.

Now Jordan is living there and he begins posting concocted stories about him and Sebastian working together because they've fallen in love. After several days, he realizes something might be wrong. The plot gets even weirder from there if you can believe it! Plus Jordan is looking for love and he attempts to find it with Sebastian's landlord's brother.

Here's Why Rotting in the Sun is the Gayest Movie of the Year

Allegedly, the idea for this film came from Sebastian and Jordan actually meeting in Mexico. Sebastian asked Michael Cera to be the lead in the movie, but Michael Cera was not comfortable with just how sexually explicit the script was. The sex in this film is apparently unsimulated, according to Sebastian himself.

He said of the film, "The sex is so graphic that it's a double-edged sword. People, especially Americans, are so scared of genitals. I'm scared a little bit that a lot of people will center on the cocks and talking about cocks when it's just a trait of one of the characters."

Well, what kind of sex and nudity are we talking about here? Besides the nude beach, there are dick-sucking scenes, orgies, and more. The sun looks good on all of these hunky men - some of whom are pornstars which explains the unsimulated nature of some of the sex scenes - and their cut and uncut cocks on the beach. There is a true diversity of dicks in this movie!

See this movie now and enjoy the weird plot or you can just watch the sexy scenes on Mr. Man!
