Today, the official trailer for Barry, the Netflix biopic about the life of Young Barack, dropped, showcasing its star in full glory. Devon Terrell has mastered many things about the president's early persona: His nuanced accent, his mannerisms, his left-handedness, his developing charisma.
Perhaps the most startling thing about Terrell is that he has no screen credits except for this movie. The sheer fact that his first wade into the waters of acting would be so superb is promising enough, but that doesn't even factor how beautiful the man is. A 20-year-old from Australia(though he was U.S. born),he is half black and half white just like Barack and longed to play the president before this movie was even announced.

As it turns out,Australians apparently love Barack, and Terrell prepped for the role very, very seriously. The film takes us all the way back to 1980, when the prez was a junior at Columbia, long before he developed his political aspirations. And look at him now! We can only hope Terrell will follow suit, hitting it big after what's guaranteed to be a knockout performance that marks his very own origin story. All I'm saying - he's on my radar.
The movie drops December 16, so ready yourselves appropriately.
