Have you ever seen EastSiders? If not, then this is THE perfect series to binge during Pride Month. Hell, it's hot enough year-round. Kit Williamson created this Logo series that came and went without hitting mainstream success, but it still was awarded plenty of praise. And for good reason!
This dark comedy started as a webseries that debuted on YouTube in 2012. In 2013 Logo TV picked it up to stream which is how we got introduced to this dysfunctional couple played by Williamson and Van Hansis. They live in swanky Silver Lake and have been together for a while, but they wind up struggling with infidelity and trying to figure out if an affair will break them up or make them stronger. Based on all of these hot men they come across, it should make them hornier.
Williamson is the star, but there are plenty of special guests who are worth drooling over. How do you feel about Matthew Wilkas? Yeah, I thought so. You'll love him, even more, when you hear that he engages in a menage-a-trois with the series stars. Oh and Willam Belli appears for a sex scene. You might know him best as the drag queen Willem! He's here "in boy" to get busy in bed.
The series is admittedly lacking in nudity and the sex scenes are not at all graphic. That being said, it's a thrill to see these sexy queer stories front and center and I'll never say no to watching hot boys flirt in their underwear. I could never!
It was nominated for several Daytime Emmies and two Indie Series Awards, so it wasn't just cheesy entertainment. The show is well worth your time. Want a taste? Check out one of these threesome scenes:
