We've been dying for the super-long-awaited movie Maplethorpe to be released. Seriously, we've talked about it before. Finally, atrail is here! Director Ondi Timoner tells the story of photographer Robert Maplethorpe from his rise to stardom in the 70's to his unfortunate death in 1989 - and there's a lot of sex and nudity in between!
Matt Smith stars as Robert Maplethorpe and based on the trailer there won't be any gay erasure. Thank goodness! Matt is no stranger to showing off his buns, so we bet as "the shy pornographer" he'll take it off for us. His American accent ain't half bad either.
