Today, we bring you more tidings of great joy: Nick Cannon, who has not yet graced the profiles of Mr. Man, bares his (presumably) beautiful bunsin the modern-dayLysistrataremake,Chi-Raq.
Mariah Carey tattoo or no Mariah Carey tattoo, we can't wait to witness it. Spike Lee's latest goes down on the South Side of Chicago, a place where the death toll has exceeded that of Iraq and Afghanistan combined. The violence between gangs is now taking the lives of innocents, so Spike decided to borrow from Ancient Greece to inform his latest film.
In case you're not up to date on your Aristophanes, here's the general idea: Lysitrata was a woman who was fed up with all the men's war bullshit, so she said, hey ladieswe're not giving these dudes the goods anymore until you stahhhpppp fightingggg. In Chi-Raq, Lysistrata is played byTeyonah Parris, who has the same idea for ending gun violence in Chicago, crying out, No peace, no pussy.
Props to her. We don't think we could turn this down.
Luckily, we do get to see Nick and Teyonah bone on-screen and with it, get to finally glimpse at his goods. Maybe everything will be right in the world afterall.
