By now, it's no secret that the 2016 Oscar nominations are severely lacking in the diversity department, partially thanks to the blinding whiteness of Hollywood and the blockbusters it produces. This year, there were quite a few Oscar snubs we were surprised by, not only because these actors of color put on legendary performances, but because they've been so damn sexy while they slay at masterful acting.
As a tribute, we've rounded up just a few of the black men we thought were more than worthy of a nomination this yearand a little photographic evidence of how they've impressed us with their dedication to going the extra mile.

Luckily, we feel pretty confident is saying we'll see a whole lot more from these talented, toned men, meaning that an Oscar nom might be just around the corner.
