There's news in the Grey's Anatomy world and it's gay news. ABC announced yesterday evening that Grey's Anatomy will add a new gay male character. The actor Jake Borelli is the current gay male on the show who plays the gay doctor Levi Schmitt and he is exiting the series. Instead of leaving a gaping gay hole, Grey's Anatomy decided to rectify the situation with a suitable replacement.
Jake Borelli has been playing the gay doctor on the series for the past seven years. He became a series regular after guesting on a couple of episodes and he's been a regular for the last five seasons. Borelli has also played a gay character in the 2020 project The Thing About Harry.
The Thing About Jake Borelli is that we have only seen him kiss men shirtless. We'd love to see more, but he has stuck to making out with other men, like his co-star Alex Landi.
Alex Landi, by the way, was the HOTTEST possible lover for Borelli to take on in the hospital. This Asian sensation goes shirtless on the show just like he also did in Insatiable in which he played an insatiable erotic dancer. He never did any sexy dancing on Grey's Anatomy, but we loved seeing his bulge dance in Insatiable. Maybe one day we will see more of his anatomy!
But who is the new guy? The new actor is going to play a hospital chaplain, but that is all we know about him. What kind of guy will play the role? Will he be sexier than Borelli? Sexier than Landi? We can't wait to find out and we will be the first to tell you about the news.
The show is going through a lot of changes. You might be surprised to hear that and to hear that the series is still airing at all. Ellen Pompeo, Dr. Meredith Grey herself, left the series. She reportedly is appearing in a few episodes in season 21 and the rumor has it that she might appear in a few more. She only left the show to open herself up to starring in a Hulu limited series based on the Natalia Grace story, titled Natalia, but now that that has wrapped she wants to return to her hospital rounds.
So Dr. Grey hasn't fully left the show and a new gay guy is coming. The show knows how to correct its wrongs and make itself better!
But who will play the new gay doctor on Grey's Anatomy? And will he show any of his anatomy? That is unlikely considering the medical drama is on ABC, so there will not be any dudity. That being said, things can get quite steamy. You might get a fever from the hotties on Grey's Anatomy.
