Adam Resurrected (2008)

Adam Resurrected (2008) is a Paul Schrader film that takes place over a decade after World War II in Israel, 1961. Adam Stein is a patient at a mental hospital meant to rehabilitate and treat Holocaust survivors. The place is lead by a doctor named Nathan Gross who is befuddled by Stein's uncanny claim that he can read minds. Before the war, Stein was a circus performer who did magic and cabaret acts. When he was in the camp, he survived by entertaining Nazis at the camp in order to evade the gas chambers. This is how he survived, namely by pretending to be a dog at the camp. While he is at the mental hospital, he insists he hears a dog. The hospital says there is no dog, but Adam goes to the basement and finds a boy being raised down there on a chain. The two of them have a connection as "dogs". Is any of this real? Who cares! It is all very sweet. It also leads to us getting a rare look at Jeff Goldblum's delicious derriere. Jeff Goldblum plays the wonderful and weird Adam Stein, so now you can see why he is so charming. When a nurse walks up to his closed door and peaks through the peephole, she is surprised to see that Jeff somehow knew she was there and has pulled down his pants and bent over to moon her. This view of Jeff's Gold Booty will have you resurrecting some stiff feelings in your pants.
