Alexander: The Making of a God (2024-)

The UK Netflix Original Series Alexander: The Making of a God is a 2024 documentary series featuring lavish reenactments. The series follows the exploits of Alexander the Great, played in the reenactments by Buck Braithwaite, as he rises to power as the King of Macedon and sweeps across the globe, conquering much of the Eastern world before he was 30. In addition to exploring his legacy as a conqueror, Alexander's bisexual proclivities also get some time in the spotlight, in particular his gay relationship with his close friend Hephaestion! Buck Braithwaite and Will Stevens really sink their teeth into these scenes, making them smoking hot without ever showing any nudity. Couple those scenes with a shirtless scene from Mido Hamada as the Persian King Darius the Great and you've got yourself one hell of a sexy history lesson!
