Anikulapo (2022)

The Nigerian Netflix Original Film Anikulapo (2022) tells the story of a peasant named Saro (Kunle Remi) who has come to the kingdom of Oyo to seek a better life for himself. Full of ambition and carrying an enormous chip on his shoulder, he soon has a chance encounter with Arolake (Bimbo Ademoye), the wife of Oyo's vicious king, and the two fall hard for one another, beginning a clandestine affair. When the affair is discovered, Saro is executed but upon entering the afterlife, he meets Akala, a legendary supernatural bird that has the power to both give and take life. Now Saro must convince the bird that he is worth of fighting his way back to the land of the living to take his revenge! This epic adventure takes some time just prior to the one hour mark to slow down and deliver a steamy sex scene where Kunle Remi bares his buns in the moonlight while having sex with the king's wife!
